Scaffolding installation details

1. Basic processing
(1) The foundation for erecting the frame must have sufficient bearing capacity, and there must be no accumulation of water in the erection site.
(2) When erecting, the bottom of the pole should be paved with padding, and drainage ditches should be set outside and around the scaffold.
(3) The support pad should meet the load-bearing capacity requirements to ensure the stability of the support system.

2. Formwork installation
(1) Steel pipes of different specifications must not be mixed.
(2) Check the scaffolding materials before construction. If they are found to be severely rusted, deformed or broken, they cannot be used.
(3) The scissor support and the vertical pole should be firmly connected to form a whole. The bottom end of the scissor brace should be firmly pressed against the ground, and the angle between the scissor braces should be between 45° and 60°.
(4) When installing peripheral columns, beams, and plate formwork, edge protection should be erected first, and a safety net should be hung up. The height of the protection should be at least 1.5m higher than the construction work surface.
(5) Edge protection must be set up around the floor where the formwork has been installed, and must be strong and reliable. The height shall not be less than 1.2m, and a dense mesh safety net must be hung.
(6) When the erection height of the frame is less than 8m, a continuous horizontal scissor brace should be installed on the top of the frame. When the height of the frame is 8m or above, continuous horizontal scissor braces should be installed at the top, bottom and vertical intervals of no more than 8m. Horizontal scissor braces should be installed at the intersection plane of the vertical scissor braces.
(7) At the bottom of the pole about 200mm from the ground, the sweeping pole should be installed in the vertical and horizontal directions in the order of vertical and horizontal.
(8) If the bottom of the pole is not at the same height, the vertical sweeping pole at the high level should be extended to the sweeping pole at the lower level for at least two spans. The height difference should not be greater than 1000mm, and the distance between the pole and the upper edge of the slope should not be less than 500mm.
(9) When setting up scaffolding, no overlapping of vertical poles is allowed. The butt fasteners on the vertical poles and crossbars are arranged in a staggered manner, and the joints of two adjacent vertical poles must be staggered from each other and cannot be set at the same time or in the same span.
(10) If the height of the entire hall is more than 10m, a safety net must be installed on the frame to prevent falling accidents from high places.
(11) There is an adjustable support on the top of the vertical pole. The height of the free end cannot exceed 500mm. The depth of the adjustable support screw at the top of the steel pipe must not exceed 200mm.
(12) Lightning protection and grounding measures should be installed at the bottom of the scaffolding.
(13) The operating floor must not be overloaded. Formwork, steel bars and other objects must not be stacked on the bracket. It is strictly prohibited to pull wind ropes or fix other objects on the bracket.
(14) The frame must be dismantled from top to bottom in sections. It is strictly prohibited to throw steel pipes and materials from top to bottom.

3. Other safety requirements
(1) The erection and dismantling of supports must be carried out by professional scaffolders who must hold a certificate. Those who are not suitable for working at heights are not allowed to operate the supports.
(2) When erecting and dismantling the bracket, the operator must wear a safety helmet, seat belt, and non-slip shoes.
(3) Formwork installation must be carried out in accordance with the special construction plan and technical explanation measures. Workers must strictly abide by the safe operating procedures for this type of work.
(4) In severe weather such as strong winds of level 6 and above, heavy fog, heavy snow, heavy rain, etc., the erection, disassembly and construction of supports must be stopped.
(5) Excavation operations are strictly prohibited on or near the support foundation.
