We all know that twist scaffolding is an upgraded scaffolding product, offering many advantages over traditional scaffolding. Many contractors purchase scaffolding for project needs. They generally prioritize price, quality, and delivery time, but some clients also focus on erection efficiency. So, how efficient is twist scaffolding?
As you all know, steel pipe coupler scaffolding is a traditional scaffolding system that is cumbersome and time-consuming to erect. It’s understood that the erection speed of a single worker using ordinary steel pipe coupler scaffolding is only 35m³/day, while twist scaffolding can reach 150m³/day.
In other words, erecting 150m³ using steel pipe coupler scaffolding would take over four days, while using twist scaffolding would only take one day. This suggests that steel pipe coupler scaffolding is more time-consuming and labor costs are significantly higher than twist scaffolding.
The interlocking scaffolding system is an advanced modular scaffolding system that offers high safety, labor savings, easy erection and dismantling, minimal construction materials, and an aesthetically pleasing design. It is an ideal upgrade to the traditional fastener and cup-type scaffolding systems.
This interlocking scaffolding system transcends the traditional fastener and bolt fastening method of scaffolding. It utilizes pre-welded connectors at both ends of the horizontal bars and the diagonal bars, along with eight-hole circular discs welded to the vertical bars. Utilizing the principle of gravity-loaded wedge-shaped self-locking pins, it completely replaces steel pipes and fasteners. The interlocking scaffolding connects the horizontal bars, vertical bars, and diagonal bars to form a flat, stable triangular structure. This flat structure is then combined into a three-dimensional structure, ultimately creating a stable spatial structure.
Interlocking scaffolding is safe to erect. Its vertical bars are forged and cast from Q345-grade steel, which is stronger than conventional Q235 steel. A single vertical bar can carry a greater load-bearing capacity of up to 20 tons. The unique disc-type design allows for multi-directional and stable connections between the rods, meeting various connection requirements for scaffolding. The steel springboard used with the scaffolding is incomparably safer than traditional bamboo or wooden springboards.
