First, the introduction of disc-type scaffolding: disc-type scaffolding is a new type of scaffolding, which is an upgraded product after the bowl-type scaffolding. It is also called chrysanthemum disc scaffolding, plug-in disc scaffolding, wheel disc scaffolding, and disc-type scaffolding. The socket is a disc with a diameter of 133mm and a thickness of 10mm. There are 8 holes in the disc. It uses φ48*3.5mm, Q345B steel pipe as the main component. The vertical pole is a disc welded every 0.50m on a certain length of steel pipe, and the bottom of the vertical pole has a connecting sleeve. The crossbar is a plug with a pin welded on both ends of the steel pipe.
Second, the classification of disc-type scaffolding: The model of disc-type scaffolding is mainly divided into two types: type A and type B according to the “Safety Technical Regulations for Socket-type Disc-type Steel Pipe Brackets in Construction” JGJ231-2010.
Type A: It is the 60 series commonly mentioned in the market, that is, the diameter of the pole is 60mm, mainly used for heavy support, such as bridge engineering.
Type B: It is the 48 series, and the diameter of the pole is 48mm, mainly used in building construction and decoration, stage lighting racks, and other fields.
Third, according to the connection method of the disc-type scaffolding pole, it is divided into two forms: outer sleeve connection and inner connecting rod connection:
1. At present, the 60 series disc-type scaffolding on the market generally adopts an inner connection.
2. The 48-series disc-type scaffolding is generally connected by an outer sleeve.
Fourth, the support scaffolding system of the disc-type scaffolding:
1. Basic components: poles, cross bars, diagonal bars, positioning bars, bases, top supports;
2. Nodes: discs, crossbar castings, diagonal bar castings, pin plates;
3. Special components: pedals, step ladders, steel trusses, external tripods, steel diagonal braces
4. Supporting products: aluminum alloy beams.
5. Adjustable base: Specifications: H=500, 600㎜, outer diameter ∅=38㎜, wall thickness t=5㎜, material: Q235B, function: to adjust the bottom height of the frame.
6. Starting rod (standard base): Specifications: H=200㎜, outer diameter ∅=48㎜, wall thickness t=3.2㎜, material: Q345A
7. Function: used as the starting point for the frame erection, the upper part is welded with the outer sleeve, and the lower part is directly connected to the adjustable base.
8. Vertical pole: Specifications: H=1000㎜, 1500㎜, 2000㎜, 2500mm, 3000㎜; outer diameter: ∅=48㎜, wall thickness: t=3.2㎜; disc spacing 500mm, vertical pole modulus 500mm, standard base 200mm. Function: used to connect with the standard base, the main load-bearing component, a set of discs is welded every 500㎜.
9. Crossbar: Specifications: L=600㎜, 900㎜, 1200㎜, 1500㎜ outer diameter: ∅=48㎜, wall thickness t=2.5㎜; material: Q235B; model specification modulus is 300mm. Specifications: 300mm, 600mm, 900mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2000mm. Function: Both ends are welded with crossbar castings and equipped with pin plates, which are used to interlock with the vertical pole discs so that the frame can extend outward.
10. Diagonal rod: Function: Used to fix the vertical poles to prevent deformation, form a triangular stable structure, and increase the overall rigidity of the frame.
11. Adjustable top support: Specifications: H=500, 600㎜, outer diameter: ∅=38㎜, wall thickness t=5㎜, function: to adjust the top height of the frame, an aluminum alloy beam or an I-beam beam is placed on the top, the theoretical maximum adjustment range of the lead screw is 100 ~ 450㎜, and it is required to be controlled within 100 ~ 300㎜.
12. Supporting components: hook-type steel scaffolding, hook-type steel ladder, hook-type steel ladder, and steel scaffolding self-locking device
Fifth, product quality requirements for disc-type scaffolding:
1) The steel pipe should be free of cracks, dents, and rust, and butt-welded steel pipes shall not be used;
2) The steel pipe should be straight, and the allowable deviation of straightness should be 1/500 of the pipe length. The two end surfaces should be flat and there should be no bevels or burrs;
3) The surface of the casting should be smooth, without defects such as sand holes, shrinkage holes, cracks, etc., and the surface sticking sand should be cleaned;
4) Stamping parts shall not have defects such as burrs, cracks, scales, etc.;
5) The effective height of each weld shall comply with the regulations, the weld shall be full, the flux shall be cleaned, and there shall be no defects such as incomplete penetration, slag inclusions, undercuts, cracks, etc.;
6) The surface of the adjustable base and adjustable bracket should be dipped in paint or cold-dip galvanized, and the coating should be uniform and firm; the surface of the frame rods and other components should be hot-dip galvanized, the surface should be smooth, and there shall be no burrs, nodules and excess lumps at the joints;
7) The manufacturer’s logo on the main components should be clear.
Sixth, the characteristics of the disc-type scaffolding
1. Small amount and lightweight: Under normal circumstances, the spacing of the vertical poles is 1.5 meters and 1.8 meters, and the step distance of the horizontal pole is 1.5 meters. Therefore, the amount of the same support volume will be reduced by 1/2 compared with traditional products, and the weight will be reduced by 1/2~1/3.
2. Large bearing capacity: Taking the 60 series heavy-duty support frame as an example, the allowable bearing capacity of a single vertical pole with a height of 5 meters is 10.3 tons (safety factor is 2). The destructive load reaches 22 tons. It is 2-3 times that of traditional products.
Seventh. Detailed installation of disc-type scaffolding
1. The height of the template support should not exceed 24m; when it exceeds 24m, it should be specially designed.
2. Accurately place the adjustable base according to the line position.
3. Adjust the adjustment nut of the adjustable base so that the adjustment nut is on the same horizontal plane. The exposed length of the adjustment screw of the adjustable base of the template support should not be greater than 300mm.
4. Put the sleeve part of the starting rod upward onto the adjustment base, and the lower edge of the starting rod must be completely placed in the groove of the force plane of the adjustable nut.
5. Put the crossbar head into the small hole of the disc so that the front end of the crossbar head is against the main frame round tube, and then use the inclined wedge to penetrate the small hole to knock it tight and fix it. The bolt connection should ensure that it will not be pulled out after hammering and self-locking, and the pull-out force shall not be less than 3kN. The height of the bottom horizontal rod of the sweeping rod should not be greater than 550mm from the ground.
6. Insert the long end of the vertical rod into the sleeve of the starting rod. Check the hole position to see if the flat main frame is inserted into the bottom of the sleeve.
7. Install the second layer of horizontal rods.
8. Install the first layer of diagonal rods: assemble all the “diagonal rods” in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, as shown in the figure below. Put the “diagonal rod” into the large hole position of the disc, so that the front end of the diagonal rod head is against the main frame round tube, and then use the diagonal wedge to penetrate the large hole and knock it tight. Note! The diagonal rod is directional, and it cannot be overlapped in the opposite direction.
9. Install the third layer of horizontal rods.
10. Install the second layer of diagonal rods: According to the assembly method in step 6, overlap the second layer of “diagonal rods” in the same direction as the first layer.
※If the first layer is assembled in a counterclockwise direction, the diagonal rods above the second layer must also be assembled in a counterclockwise direction.
11. Install U-shaped top support: Insert the U-shaped top support tooth tube into the main frame tube and adjust the nut to the required height.
The cantilever length of the adjustable bracket of the formwork support extending from the top horizontal bar or double-slot steel support beam is strictly prohibited to exceed 650mm, and the exposed length of the screw rod is strictly prohibited to exceed 400mm. The length of the adjustable bracket inserted into the vertical bar or double-slot steel support beam shall not be less than 150mm.
12. Requirements for diagonal rod installation:
1) When the erection height is not more than 8m, the step distance should not be greater than 1.5m. Vertical diagonal rods should be set on each layer of the first span of the outer facade around the bracket frame, and vertical diagonal rods should be set on the bottom and top of the frame as a whole. Vertical diagonal rods should be set vertically and horizontally from bottom to top every 5 spans in the internal area of the frame, or scissor braces should be set with fastener steel pipes.
2) When the height of the full-floor formwork support does not exceed 8 meters and does not exceed 4 steps, the top horizontal diagonal bar may not be set; when the height of the frame exceeds 4 steps, the top horizontal diagonal bar or the horizontal scissors brace of the fastener steel pipe should be set.
3) When the erection height is greater than 8m, the vertical diagonal bars should be fully set, the step of the horizontal bars shall not be greater than 1.5m, and the horizontal layer diagonal bars or the horizontal scissors brace of the fastener steel pipe should be set every 4 to 6 steps along the height.
4) When the formwork support is erected into an independent tower support without lateral tension, vertical diagonal bars should be set at each step on each side of the frame. When there is a requirement for anti-torsion, horizontal layer diagonal bars or horizontal scissors braces of steel pipes should be added at the top layer, and every 3 to 4 steps
