1. Scaffolding couplers should be free from visible cracks, and major components should be free from defects such as shrinkage cavities, slag inclusions, air holes, overheating, material shortages, and folds.

2. The opening distance between the cover plate and the seat should not be less than the diameter of the steel pipe.

3. The number of sand holes larger than 10mm² on the surface of the scaffolding coupler should not exceed three, and the cumulative area should not exceed 50mm².

4. The cumulative area of sand adhering to the surface of the scaffolding coupler should not exceed 150mm².

5. The relative positional offset of the parting surface of cast scaffolding couplers should not exceed 1mm.

6. The surface convexity of the scaffolding coupler should be within acceptable limits. 7. The height (or depth) of the recess should not exceed 1mm;

8. There should be no oxide scale at the contact points between the scaffold coupler and the steel pipe, and the cumulative area of oxide scale on other parts should not exceed 150mm²;

9. The riveted joints of the scaffold coupler should be firm and free of cracks.

10. Moving parts should rotate freely, and the gap between the two rotating surfaces of the rotating scaffold coupler should be less than 1mm.
