1. Components and reinforcements. Check that the components and reinforcements are complete, meet quality standards, and that the connections and hooks are securely fastened.
2. Safety nets and handrails. Verify that the safety nets and handrails are properly installed.
3. Level and solid foundation. Check that the foundation is level and solid, and that the supports meet regulations.
4. Verticality and horizontality. Check that verticality and horizontality meet acceptable standards.
5. Construction plan and scaffolding foundation. This includes the construction plan, scaffolding foundation, scaffolding stability, scaffolding installation, commissioning, and acceptance.
6. Safety. Check that the bottom of the vertical posts is equipped with adjustable bases, that the scaffolding anchor points are secure, and that both ends of the vertical and diagonal posts are fixed to the longitudinal beams.
7. Appearance and workmanship. The internal and external surfaces of the vertical posts, horizontal posts, diagonal posts, and components should be hot-dip galvanized, smooth, and free of burrs at the joints.
8. Dimensional deviations. All relevant dimensional deviations must comply with the requirements of “Socket-type Disc-type Steel Pipe Support Components” (JGT 503-2016).
9. Connector plate strength test. This includes single-sided shear strength, double-sided shear strength, bending strength, and tensile strength tests to ensure that all components of the specimen are not damaged during the test.
In addition, when working at height, specific safety regulations must be observed. For example, scaffolding erection and dismantling operations should be suspended in inclement weather, and a safe distance should be maintained between the scaffolding and overhead power lines.
