How to install coupler-type scaffolding

The erection height of single-row scaffolding should not exceed 24m; the erection height of double-row scaffolding should not exceed 50m. For double-row scaffolding exceeding 50m in height, segmented erection measures should be adopted.

The construction of longitudinal horizontal bars in coupler-type scaffolding should comply with the following regulations:
(1) Longitudinal horizontal bars should be set inside the uprights, and the length of a single bar should not be less than 3 spans.
(2) The extension of longitudinal horizontal bars should be connected by butt couplers or lap joints, and should comply with the following regulations:
(a) The joints of two adjacent longitudinal horizontal bars should not be set in the same row or span; the horizontal distance between two adjacent joints in different rows or spans should not be less than 500mm; the distance from the center of each joint to the nearest main node should not be greater than 1/3 of the longitudinal spacing.
(b) The lap length should not be less than 1m, and three swivel couplers should be installed at equal intervals for fixing; the distance from the edge of the end coupler cover plate to the end of the lapped longitudinal horizontal bar should not be less than 100mm.
(c) When using stamped steel scaffold boards, wooden scaffold boards, or bamboo strip scaffold boards, the longitudinal horizontal bars should serve as supports for the transverse horizontal bars and be fixed to the uprights with right-angle couplers; when using bamboo mat scaffold boards, the longitudinal horizontal bars should be fixed to the transverse horizontal bars with right-angle couplers and should be set at equal intervals, with a spacing not exceeding 400mm.
