Detailed steps for the industrial scaffolding foundation

Scaffolding seems simple, but there are many tricks! The foundation must be stable, the erection must be meticulous, and the dismantling must not be sloppy. Today, I will share all my experiences with you, and I guarantee that you can also become a scaffolding expert!

1. Foundation and foundation treatment
Foundation requirements: The foundation of the scaffolding is the top priority. It must be flat and solid, and the bearing capacity and deformation must meet the standards. Imagine if the foundation is unstable and the scaffolding is shaky, how dangerous it is! Therefore, be sure to check the foundation before construction, level the uneven places, and replace the soft soil.
Drainage facilities: Don’t forget to set up drainage facilities! Water accumulation is the enemy of scaffolding, which can easily lead to soft foundations and even frost heave. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that rainwater can be drained smoothly and keep the foundation dry.
Anti-frost heave measures: During winter construction, anti-frost heave measures must also be taken. For example, you can lay a layer of insulation material on the foundation, or add a heating device to ensure that the foundation is not frozen.

2. Scaffolding erection steps
Base and pad: Before starting to erect, put the base and pad first. The base must be placed firmly and the pad specifications must meet the requirements to ensure the stability of the scaffolding.
Load control: During the erection process, always pay attention to the load problem. Don’t pile up materials all at once, make sure the load is not overloaded, otherwise the scaffolding can’t bear it!
It is strictly forbidden to fix other equipment: Remember, it is strictly forbidden to fix other equipment on the scaffolding! For example, mixers, hanging baskets, etc., these must be fixed in other places, don’t add extra burden to the scaffolding.
Cooperate with the construction progress: When erecting, cooperate with the construction progress, don’t erect too high at one time. Generally speaking, the erection height should not exceed two steps above the adjacent wall connection piece at one time, which is safer.
Sweeping rod and wall connection piece: The sweeping rod and wall connection piece must be set correctly, which is the key to ensure the stability of the scaffolding. The sweeping rod should be close to the ground, and the wall connection should be firm and reliable, so as to ensure that the scaffolding will not shake.
Scissor brace setting: According to the height of the scaffolding, the scissor brace should be reasonably set. The scissor brace can enhance the wind resistance and overall stability of the scaffolding, so it is indispensable!
Inspection and acceptance: Don’t forget to inspect and accept. Check it carefully from beginning to end to ensure that there are no problems before putting it into use. Safety is the first priority!

3. Dismantling of scaffolding
Dismantling principle: When dismantling the scaffolding, follow the principle of top-down and proceed layer by layer. Don’t rush to dismantle it all at once, take your time to ensure safety.
It is strictly forbidden to dismantle the upper and lower parts at the same time: Remember, it is strictly forbidden to dismantle the upper and lower parts at the same time! Otherwise, collapse accidents are likely to occur. It must be dismantled layer by layer to ensure stability.
Removal of wall connection parts: The wall connection parts must also be dismantled layer by layer with the scaffolding, don’t rush to dismantle it all. The height of the segmented dismantling should not exceed two steps. If it exceeds, you must install wall connection parts to reinforce it.
