Practical skills for scaffolding in engineering projects

Scaffolding is not simple, after all, it involves safety and efficiency, and it cannot be sloppy. Especially for those who are new to it, you must remember to do every step well. Today I will share with you some practical skills for scaffolding, and I guarantee that after you read it, you can get twice the result with half the effort in the construction process!

1. Check materials and work area
Material inspection: We must first ensure that all scaffolding materials are intact. If any part is damaged or deformed, replace it immediately. Don’t wait until the construction is completed to find the problem, which will be embarrassing.
Area inspection: Check whether our work area is flat and stable. This is the key to ensuring the stability of the scaffolding! Don’t forget to prepare safety equipment, such as safety belts, safety helmets, and spirit levels. Safety first.

2. Install foundation and horizontal rod
Foundation installation: First dig the foundation in the four corners of the work area, and install the footboard or base, so that the scaffolding will be stable and not shake.
Horizontal bar installation: Next, install the horizontal bars on the foundation. Remember to check with a level to ensure that they are stable and level so that the subsequent installation can proceed smoothly.

3. Install vertical bars and horizontal bars
Vertical bar installation: Install the vertical bars on the horizontal bars. At this time, pay special attention to the distance between the vertical bars, which must meet the requirements to ensure the stability of the structure.
Horizontal bar installation: Similarly, pay attention to the distance when installing the horizontal bars. You can determine their spacing according to specific needs and specifications, so that the structure of the entire scaffolding will be more stable.

4. Reinforcement inspection and safe removal
Reinforcement inspection: After the scaffolding is built, we need to reinforce and fully inspect it to ensure that all connections are firm and there is no looseness or shaking.
Safe removal: After use, safely remove the scaffolding in reverse order. Remember to pay attention to safety and avoid risks such as falling from heights.
