Tips for the safe use of scaffolding

1. Transport the scaffolding safely, avoid placing the scaffolding on the side. It is best to keep all objects as flat as possible to prevent the parts from bouncing, just make sure to secure them with straps.

2. When using on sandy ground, cover the entire width of the bracket with wooden boards as much as possible. This will tile a larger work area and reduce the risk of falling.

3. First install the base casters so that they can be moved into the work area without lifting the entire bracket.

4. Installing the guardrail is the best way to prevent accidental sliding off the edge of the platform.

5. Maintain three-point grip. When you climb scaffolding, always maintain three-point grip. This means that the limbs should always be in contact with the support.

6. To build scaffolding on uneven ground, wood blocks with a thickness of more than 2cm need to be placed. This will help prevent sinking into soft soil or hot asphalt.

7. Work on scaffolding, safety first. Keep the board clean and tidy to reduce the risk of tripping or kicking things on unsuspecting people below. Store tools and consumables in toolboxes whenever possible. Install skirting boards to prevent items from falling.

8. Don’t mix and match, the combination of scaffolding styles may cause the platform to be unstable and dangerous, especially for different materials, such as steel pipes and aluminum alloys.
