How to use scaffolding safely to prevent accidents

It is not surprising that scaffolding is used in daily life. Scaffolding can be seen in the construction of buildings and indoor home decoration. In recent years, scaffolding collapse accidents have occurred constantly. So, how to use scaffolding safely during construction to prevent accidents?

Scaffolding must be used within its load range, and overloading and overloading are strictly prohibited.
1. The load on the working surface, including scaffolding, personnel, tools and materials, should be controlled according to the specified value of the specification when the organizational design is not specified, that is, the structural scaffolding shall not exceed 3KN/㎡; the decoration scaffolding shall not exceed 2KN/㎡; The maintenance scaffold shall not exceed 1KN/㎡.
2. The number of scaffolding layers and simultaneous operation layers of the scaffolding shall not exceed the regulations.
3. The load on the rack surface should be evenly distributed to avoid the load being concentrated on one side.
4. The number of decking layers and load control of the transfer platform between the vertical transportation facilities (head frame, etc.) and the scaffolding shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the construction organization design. It is not allowed to arbitrarily increase the number of decking layers and stack materials beyond the limit on the transfer platform. .
5. Wall components such as lintels should be shipped and installed, and should not be placed on scaffolding.
6. Heavier construction equipment (such as electric welding machines, etc.) shall not be placed on the scaffolding.

Do not dismantle the basic structural rods and connecting walls at will, because doing so will damage the stable structure of the structure and increase the restraint length of a single rod and the overall structure of the scaffold, thereby significantly or even seriously reducing the stability and stability of the scaffold. Carrying capacity. When certain rods and connecting wall points must be removed due to the needs of the operation, the consent of the construction supervisor and technical personnel should be obtained, and reliable compensation and reinforcement measures should be taken.

Do not dismantle the safety protection measures at will. If there is no setting or the setting does not meet the requirements, it should be supplemented or improved before it can be put on the shelf for operation.

Precautions when working on the shelf:
1. When working, you should pay attention to clean up the materials that fall on the shelf at any time, keep the shelf clean and tidy, and don’t put materials and tools in disorder, so as not to affect the safety of your own operation and cause falling objects to hurt people.
2. When carrying out operations such as prying, pulling, pushing, pulling, etc., pay attention to adopting the correct posture, stand firm, or hold one hand on a stable structure or support, so as to avoid the body losing balance or throwing things when the force is too strong. out. When removing the formwork on the scaffold, necessary support measures should be taken to prevent the removed formwork material from falling out of the frame.
3. When finishing work, the materials on the shelf should be used up or stacked neatly.
4. It is strictly forbidden to play on the shelf or walk backwards or sit on the outer guardrail to rest. Don’t walk or do something in a hurry on the air, and avoid losing your balance when you dodge each other.
5. When electric welding is performed on the scaffolding, it is necessary to lay iron sheets and then sparks or remove flammable materials to prevent sparks from igniting flammable materials. And prepare fire prevention measures at the same time. In the event of a fire, extinguish it in time.
6. When putting on the shelf after rain or snow, the snow and water on the shelf should be removed to avoid slipping.
7. When the height of the shelf surface is not enough and needs to be raised, a stable and reliable method of height must be adopted, and the height of the height should not exceed 0.5m; when it exceeds 0.5m, the decking layer of the shelf should be raised according to the erection regulations. When raising the working surface, the protective facilities should be raised accordingly.
8. When transporting materials on the shelf and passing through the personnel in operation, the signals of “please pay attention” and “please let go” should be issued in time. The materials should be placed lightly and stably, and no dumping, slamming or other hasty unloading methods are allowed.
9. Safety signs should be reasonably set on the scaffolding.
