Scaffolding Design

1. Compared with the general structural design, the design of scaffolding has the following characteristics:
(1) The load is highly variable; (the weight of construction personnel and materials changes at any time).
(2) The joints connected by fasteners are semi-rigid, and the rigidity of the joints is related to the quality of the fasteners and the installation quality, and there is a large variation in the performance of the joints.
(3) There are initial defects in the scaffold structure and components, such as initial bending, corrosion, erection size error, load eccentricity, etc. of the rods are relatively large;
(4) The connection point with the wall has a large variation in the binding of the scaffolding.
(5) The safety reserve is small.
For a long time in the past, due to the limitation of the level of economic and scientific, and technological development, scaffolding was erected according to experience and practice, without design and calculation, which was arbitrary, and safety could not be scientifically and reliably guaranteed; The problem is more prominent after the change.

2. The bearing capacity of the scaffolding
The structure mainly refers to three parts: the working floor, the horizontal frame, and the vertical frame. The working layer is directly subjected to the construction load, and the load is transmitted from the scaffold to the small crossbar, and then to the large crossbar and column. The horizontal frame is composed of vertical bars and small horizontal bars. It is the part of the scaffold that directly bears and transmits vertical loads. It is the main force of the scaffold. The longitudinal frame is mainly to improve the overall stability of the scaffold.
