Safe management and use of industrial scaffolding

Scaffolding is used in the open air most of the time. Due to the long construction period, exposure to the sun, wind, and rain during the construction period, coupled with collisions, overloading and deformation, and other reasons, the scaffolding may have broken rods, loose fasteners, sinking of the shelf or Skew, etc. cannot meet the normal requirements of construction. Therefore, timely repair and reinforcement are required to achieve the requirements of firmness, stability, and construction safety. If only the rods and binding materials are seriously damaged, they must be replaced and reinforced in time to ensure that the shelf can meet the structural requirements at every stage of the entire use process. Construction and use requirements.

The materials used for repair and reinforcement should be the same as the materials and specifications of the original shelf. It is prohibited to mix steel and bamboo, and it is prohibited to mix fasteners, ropes, and bamboo strips. Repair and reinforcement should be the same as erection, and safety operating procedures must be strictly followed.

All steel tube scaffolding rods must undergo rust removal and anti-rust treatment once every 1-2 years.

Use of scaffolding: After the frame is installed, strict inspection and acceptance should be carried out before use.
After the scaffolding is installed, relevant personnel should be organized by the safety material to conduct inspection and acceptance of these regulations. Only after it is confirmed to be qualified can it be used. Inspections before and during use should include the following:

First, inspection before use
1. Set up safety escalators and ladder-type ramps for operators to go up and down.
2. Strictly control the construction loads of various types of scaffolding.
3. When multi-layer operations are carried out on scaffolding at the same time, reliable protective sheds should be set up between each workhouse to prevent falling objects and workers from the upper floors. No one is allowed to dismantle the scaffolding by themselves.
4. If there are problems such as sunken and suspended poles, loose nodes, skewed shelves, deformation of poles, ice on the scaffolding boards, etc., use should be stopped until they are resolved.
5. In case of strong winds, fog, heavy rain, and heavy snow on Level 6 or above, handwork should be suspended. After rain and snow, anti-slip measures must be taken during operations, and operations must be checked before resuming if there are no problems before work can continue.
6. When painting the exterior wall, it is strictly prohibited to cut the tie bars at will. If necessary, add new tie points and set tie bars. The original tie bars can be cut only on the premise of ensuring that there are no safety hazards. (Note: The pull node must meet the 4*7 Mira node requirements)

Second, check the scaffolding regularly
(1) The company’s safety department will organize personnel to participate in inspections regularly every month.
(2) Management inspections organized by the project team and attended by the project manager every week, including:
1. Job certificate of the shelf worker;
2. Whether the steel pipe is rusted or deformed;
3. Fastening condition of fasteners;
4. The full extent of the scaffolding boards;
5. Whether there are safety warning signs;
