Instructions and precautions for scaffolding erection and removal

Scaffolding erection instructions and precautions

1) Before use, thoroughly inspect the scaffolding that has been built to ensure that all assembly instructions are followed and that there is no damage to the parts of the scaffolding.
2) Only when the scaffolding has been leveled and all casters and adjusting legs have been fixed can the scaffolding be climbed.
3) Do not move or adjust this scaffolding when there are people and items on the platform.
4) You can enter the platform by climbing a ladder from the inside of the scaffolding, or climb in from the steps of the ladder. You can also enter through the aisle of the frame, or enter the working platform through the opening of the platform.
5) If a vertical extension device is added to the base part, it must be fixed on the scaffolding using external supports or widening tools.
6) When the platform height exceeds 1.20m, safety guardrails must be used.
7) Follow the instructions to install and lock the tie bars on the scaffolding to enhance its stability.
8) When setting up, the brakes on the wheels must be braked and the level must be adjusted.
9) The bayonet at the connection must ensure a stable connection.
10) Ladders, platform boards, and opening boards must be hooked properly until you hear a clicking sound.
11) When the platform plate of single-width scaffolding exceeds 4m, and when the platform plate height of double-width scaffolding exceeds 6m, external support plates must be used.
12) The connecting vertical rod of the external support must be tightened and cannot be loose. The lower end cannot be suspended in the air, and the lower end must be firmly connected to the ground.
13) A horizontal support rod is required for every two diagonal support rods.
14) The nuts of the connecting buckles must be tightened and the vertical rods and reinforcing rods must be firmly blocked.
15) When the platform height is 15m, reinforcing rods must be used.
16) When moving, the brakes on the casters must be loosened, and the lower end of the outer support must be off the ground. Movement is strictly prohibited when there are people on the scaffold.
17) It is strictly prohibited to use tools that produce a strong impact on it.
18) Scaffolding is strictly prohibited to be used in strong winds and overloaded.
19) Scaffolding can only be used on solid ground (flat hard ground, cement floor), etc. It is strictly prohibited to use it on soft ground!
20) All operators must wear safety helmets and fasten seat belts when setting up, dismantling, and using scaffolding!

Dismantling of scaffolding
1) Preparatory work before dismantling the scaffolding: Comprehensively inspect the scaffolding, focusing on checking whether the fastener connection and fixation, support system, etc. meet the safety requirements; prepare a dismantling plan based on the inspection results and on-site conditions and obtain approval from the relevant departments; conduct technical briefings; For on-site conditions, fences or warning signs should be set up, and designated personnel should be assigned to guard the site; materials, wires and other debris remaining in the scaffolding should be removed.
2) Non-operators are strictly prohibited from entering the work area where the shelves are removed.
3) Before dismantling the rack, there should be approval procedures from the person in charge of the on-site construction. When dismantling the rack, there must be a dedicated person to direct, so that the upper and lower respond and the movements are coordinated.
4) The order of dismantling should be that the components erected later should be dismantled first, and the components erected first should be dismantled last. It is strictly forbidden to dismantle by pushing or pulling down.
5) The fixings should be removed layer by layer along with the scaffolding. When the last riser section is removed, temporary supports should be erected and reinforced before the fixings and supports can be removed.
6) The dismantled scaffolding parts should be transported to the ground in time and throwing from the air is strictly prohibited.
7) Scaffolding components transported to the ground should be cleaned and maintained in time. Apply anti-rust paint as needed, and store them in storage according to varieties and specifications.
