How to choose the height of scaffolding

Scaffolding can play a certain protective role, but its height selection also needs attention, so as to be more safe. In fact, there are many heights of scaffolding, which need to be selected, so how to choose the height of scaffolding?

There are several standards for calculating the height other than the height of the scaffold:

First of all, the installation height of the scaffold is 25-50 meters, and the galvanized square pipe should strengthen the overall stability of the scaffold. For example, it is necessary to continuously provide longitudinal scissor support, increase lateral shear support, correspondingly increase the strength of the wall pillars, reduce the spacing, and provide supports with a height of more than 40m in windy areas. Considering the upward driving force of the wind vortex, a horizontal connection should be provided.

Secondly, the design calculation of the scaffold must comply with the relevant regulations of the scaffold specification and be approved by the person in charge of the company.

Third, when the erection height exceeds 50 meters, the scaffold can be reinforced with bipolar or sectioned unloading. The scaffolding and beam structure are lifted along the entire height of the scaffold, and part of the load is transferred to the building on the scaffold. Or use segmented erection to transport each segmented scaffold to the cantilever beam and frame, extend from the building, design and calculate.

Fourth, the scaffold must have a certain height range to avoid potential safety hazards, but the height of the construction is not limited by the height of the scaffold. Therefore, the height of the scaffold must be calculated within a certain range. Meet the high requirements of the construction team.

In the quota, the step distance of structural scaffolding is considered as 1.2m, and the step distance of decorative scaffolding is considered as 1.8m. The height of the scaffolding starts from the plane where the scaffolding is erected to the highest point of the project to be completed. Divide the height of the scaffold by the step distance. If the quotient obtained is an integer, then subtract 1; if the quotient obtained is not an integer, the number after the decimal point is discarded and only the integer part is taken. For example: a three-story building exterior decoration project, from the outdoor floor to the roof, the height is 10m. Then 10m/1.8m=5.56, the number of steps is 5 steps; to build a 3.6m high wall, 3.6m/1.2=3, and the number of steps is 3-1=2 steps.
