As a new type of tool scaffolding, the coupler scaffolding has the advantages of high bearing capacity, good integrity, and strong safety. It is currently widely used in ultra-thick and ultra-heavy beam and slab formwork support and tall formwork support. In the process of setting up and dismantling the coupler scaffolding at the construction site, some tall formwork projects have some problems in the process of dismantling the scaffolding. Today, let’s discuss how to dismantle the high-support formwork of the coupler scaffolding.
What problems will occur if the coupler scaffolding is dismantled savagely?
1. The disc is bent, resulting in the inability to connect the crossbar.
2. The vertical pole is bent, and the bearing capacity is reduced.
3. The end of the column is concave, resulting in the inability to remove the outer coat smoothly when the column is extended.
4. The main material at the end of the vertical pole is turned out, resulting in the inability to remove the outer coat smoothly when the vertical pole is extended.
5. The horizontal bar is bent and cannot be connected to the vertical pole normally.
Dismantling methods and precautions for coupler scaffolding
Generally speaking, according to the actual situation of on-site construction, the dismantling of coupler scaffolding can be divided into two forms:
1: Dismantling of coupler scaffolding for straight slope piers. For double-row scaffolding for straight slope piers, after the steel bars of the pier body are tied, install the round formwork and flat plate of the straight slope pier, and dismantle the scaffolding from top to bottom. Set up a ladder for people to go up and down, and then install the truss outside the straight slope pier.
2: Dismantling of coupler scaffolding for slope piers. For double-row scaffolding for slope piers, after the steel bars of the pier column are tied, install the template of the slope pier column, and after the construction of the pier column is completed and the template is removed, dismantle the scaffolding. It should be noted that the dismantling of socket-type coupler scaffolding must be carried out in accordance with the principle of “erection first and then dismantling” and “dismantling first and then dismantling”. It is strictly forbidden to work up and down at the same time.
Before dismantling the scaffolding, dismantle the operating platform on the top of the pier first. The diagonal rods of each layer of scaffolding should be removed first, and then dismantled.
Hang steel ladders, steel platforms, and crossbars, and finally remove the vertical poles. Before dismantling, the construction management personnel should give safety technical instructions to the operators.
When dismantling double-row scaffolding, a safe area must be marked out, warning signs must be set up, and special personnel must be assigned to guard it. Dismantling should start from the top floor and proceed step by step. It is strictly forbidden to dismantle the upper and lower floors at the same time. The dismantled components and accessories should be classified and stacked for easy transportation, maintenance, and storage.
Workers working at high altitudes on scaffolding should wear safety helmets, safety belts, tie their legs, and wear soft-soled, non-slip shoes.
Unified command should be given during dismantling, and the upper and lower parts should respond to each other and coordinate actions.
During dismantling, it is strictly forbidden to collide with the power lines near the scaffolding to prevent electric shock.
When dismantling the scaffolding, it is not allowed to change people in the middle. If it is necessary to change people, the dismantling situation should be clearly explained before leaving.
On the day of leaving the post, the undismantled parts should be reinforced in time to prevent man-made accidents caused by hidden dangers after resuming work. In case of special weather such as strong winds, heavy rains, and other needs, the scaffolding shall not be dismantled, and it is strictly forbidden to dismantle it at night.
When removing the scaffolding and steel platform, pay attention to your standing posture, remove the residues of the scaffolding and steel platform, and avoid falling from heights and injuring people.
The components transported to the ground should be inspected, repaired, and maintained in a timely manner according to regulations, and stored separately according to types and specifications.
