Here are some details you should know about installing disc-lock scaffolding

First, Disc-Lock Scaffolding Operation Procedures:
The construction of disc-lock scaffolding must be carried out systematically and strictly according to the specific operating procedures:
1. Level and compact the site; conduct foundation bearing capacity tests and prepare materials;
2. Position and set up standard base plates and bases;
3. Erect uprights, install longitudinal and transverse ground bracing, and set up longitudinal and transverse horizontal bracing;
4. Install unloading wire ropes;
5. Uprights, longitudinal and transverse horizontal bracing, and external diagonal bracing/scissor bracing;
6. Install wall ties, lay scaffold boards, and install guardrails and safety nets.

Second, Disc-Lock Scaffolding Installation Steps:
1. Adjustable Base: After laying out the dimensions according to the scaffolding configuration drawing, place the adjustable base at the fixed point.
2. Standard Base: Place the standard base with the vertical sleeve facing upwards above the adjustable base. The lower edge of the standard base should be completely submerged in the groove of the wrench’s bearing surface.
3. Layered Horizontal Bars: Insert the horizontal bar head into the round hole, ensuring the front end of the horizontal bar head is flush against the round tube of the vertical bar. Then, use bolts to secure it by hammering them into the hole.
4. Vertical Bars: Insert the long end of the vertical bar into the sleeve of the standard base. Check the position of the inspection hole to ensure the vertical bar is inserted to the bottom of the sleeve. Note that vertical bars are only used for the second floor of the building; their use begins from the second floor.
5. Layered Diagonal Tie Bars: Assemble all diagonal tie bars clockwise or counterclockwise. Insert the diagonal tie bars into the large hole of the valve disc, ensuring the front end of the diagonal tie bar head is against the round tube of the vertical bar. Then, use bolts to hammer the fixing bolts into the large hole. Note: Diagonal tie bars are directional and cannot be constructed in reverse.

Third, Unique Advantages of Disc-Lock Scaffolding:
1. Disc-lock scaffolding has fewer fasteners, facilitating installation and disassembly during operation, and is suitable for installation in various building structures.
2. The fasteners are designed for high-strength steel, resulting in a very simple structure, stable stress distribution, and reliable performance. The internal bolts have a self-locking function, completely eliminating unsafe factors during operation. The large contact area between the coupler and the support column improves the strength and bending resistance of the steel pipe.
3. The main materials for spiral-lock scaffolding are international Q355 steel pipe and low-alloy steel pipe. The low-alloy scaffolding used is high-strength, lightweight, highly corrosion-resistant, economically efficient, and socially beneficial.
4. The main components of disc-lock scaffolding generally adopt internal and external galvanizing anti-corrosion processes, which can improve the service life of the product, further enhance safety, and provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
