First, scaffolding qualifications and plans are prerequisites for safe operations.
1. Personnel Qualification Management: Scaffolders must hold a special operations permit from the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department, which must be reviewed every two years. Scaffold erection units must possess a safety production license.
2. Special Construction Plan Review: Ground-based scaffolding exceeding 50 meters and cantilevered scaffolding exceeding 20 meters require expert review. The plan should include a project overview, scaffolding selection, material specifications, calculations, and emergency response plans, and should be implemented after approval.
3. Three-Level Safety Briefing: A three-dimensional briefing method of “text + 3D animation + hands-on operation” is used, with signatures and confirmation from the technical supervisor, safety officer, and work team.
Second, scaffolding material acceptance is the cornerstone of quality compliance.
Steel pipes: Outer diameter 48.3mm ± 0.5mm, wall thickness ≥ 3.0mm. Pipes with rust > 1mm or deformation are prohibited. Fasteners: Anti-slip bearing capacity ≥ 8kN. Bolts with thread stripping are prohibited. Scaffolding: Stamped steel plates weighing ≥ 20kg each; rotten wood is prohibited. Safety net: Netting must not break after impact testing; replacement is required if holes exceed 5cm². The factory implements a “three-inspection system,” ensuring compliance with specifications through spectral analysis and mechanical testing.
Third, scaffolding erection standards require millimeter-level precision.
1. Foundation Preparation: Backfill compaction coefficient ≥ 0.94, concrete cushion strength ≥ C20, and uprights with adjustable bases (height ≤ 300mm).
2. Structural Parameters: Step spacing ≤ 1.8m, span ≤ 1.5m, continuous scissor bracing; cantilever steel beam anchorage length ≥ 1.25 times the cantilever length.
3. Wall Tie Configuration: Use a “two-step, three-span” or “three-step, three-span” rigid connection. Double the density for heights greater than 50m.
Fourth, the scaffolding protection system is a three-dimensional safety barrier.
1. Three lines of defense: The working floor is fully covered with scaffolding boards and equipped with 18cm footboards; the outer surface is fully enclosed with a fine-mesh net (10cm² mesh count ≤ 2000); and 1.2m steel guardrails are installed along the edges.
2. Protection of special areas: A double-layer protective shed is erected at the entrance (interlayer spacing ≥ 500mm). The unloading platform has a load limit of 3kN/m² and is equipped with an independent lifeline.
Fifth, scaffolding process control is a full-cycle risk control measure.
1. Erection phase: Vertical deviation of the vertical poles must be ≤ 1/500. After each step is completed, a load test at 110% of the design value is conducted.
2. Operation phase: Single-point loads greater than 300kg/m² are prohibited. The “three-break” mechanism is activated in winds above force 6. An intelligent monitoring system monitors scaffolding movement and safety belt wearing in real time.
3. Dismantling phase: Follow the “top-to-bottom” order, first horizontal poles, then vertical poles. A 10m radius rigid fence is set up around the dismantling area.
