How to Identify Scaffolding Accident Signs

Scaffolding collapses vertically
(1) The early sign of vertical collapse is that the lower part of the frame and the longer pole begin to show lateral arch deformation, which is visible to the naked eye but easy to ignore.
(2) The mid-term sign of vertical collapse is that the vertical poles begin to show obvious multi-wave arch deformation from bottom to top, and there will be signs of damage at the scaffolding nodes and connectors.
(3) The late sign of vertical collapse is that the scaffolding begins to produce abnormal noise of node and wall damage, and some scaffold nodes and connectors will be severely damaged.

Scaffolding partially collapsed
(1) The early signs of local collapse are obvious bending deformation and damage to the local horizontal rods and scaffolding boards of the scaffolding, and at the same time, cracks or loosening and sliding will appear at the local connecting parts of the scaffolding, which are visible to the naked eye but easy to ignore.
(2) The mid-term sign of local collapse is the continuation of the damage characteristics of the early signs and continued development, and the cracks of the connecting parts expand or slide seriously, and some connecting points begin to deform.
(3) The late sign of local collapse is that the scaffolding and horizontal rods begin to break or fall off, and the local framework begins to deform seriously, accompanied by abnormal noise.

Dumping of scaffolding and multi-level transfer trestle
(1) The early signs of dumping are that the foundation of the scaffolding on the side of the transfer frame begins to settle; the scaffolding pole is slightly tipped to the side of the transfer frame; there is initial tension and compression or shear deformation of the connecting wall.
(2) The mid-term sign of dumping is the continuation of the damage characteristics of the early signs and continues to develop, and the upper part of the frame begins to shake. In severe cases, the root of the pole will be significantly separated from its supporting pad or position.
(3) The late sign of dumping is that the upper part of the scaffold dumps sharply outwards, accompanied by abnormal noises.
