Galvanized pipe fittings

Galvanized elbows, galvanized tees, galvanized crosses are all galvanized pipe fittings, while hot galvanized pipe fittings are galvanized using the hot galvanizing process, which is currently the most commonly used galvanizing process.

Pipe fittings are parts that connect pipes into pipes. Pipe fittings are the collective name of parts in the pipeline system that play the role of connection, control, direction change, diverting, sealing, support and so on. Galvanized tee is a small type of galvanized connecting pipe, which is mainly used to connect galvanized pipes. The so-called “tee” has three ports that can connect three pipes. Galvanized elbow is a kind of connection fittings commonly used in pipeline installation. It connects two pipes with the same or different nominal diameters to make the pipe turn at a certain angle.

Hot-dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion, and long service life. The hot-dip galvanized steel pipe substrate and the molten plating solution undergo complex physical and chemical reactions to form a corrosion-resistant, tightly-structured zinc-iron alloy layer. The alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and the steel pipe base. Therefore, its corrosion resistance is strong. The production process mainly includes: original plate preparation → pre-plating treatment → hot dip plating → post-plating treatment → finished product inspection, etc.

Hot-dip galvanized pipe is a very commonly used part. We need it to connect other galvanized pipes.
